Skymarshal Privacy Policy

Effective July 22, 2026

Skymarshal is an independent account-cleanup utility for Bluesky operated by Luke Steuber. It is not affiliated with Bluesky Social PBC.

Information processed

When you connect an account, Skymarshal communicates directly with Bluesky’s AT Protocol services to retrieve the posts, replies, reposts, likes, follows, profiles, and engagement information needed for features you request. Bulk deletion and unfollow actions are sent only after your confirmation.

Credentials and storage

Use a revocable app password, not your main password. Skymarshal exchanges the app password directly with Bluesky and does not save it. Bluesky-issued session tokens are stored in the iOS Keychain. App settings, cached archive information, and widget snapshots stay on your device. Widget extensions read local snapshots and make no network requests.

No developer server or tracking

Skymarshal has no developer-operated account or application server. It contains no advertising, tracking pixels, third-party analytics SDKs, or cross-app tracking. The privacy manifest declares no tracking and no data collected by the developer.

Third-party services

Your use of Bluesky remains subject to the policies of the service and hosting provider associated with your account. Network requests required for app features go directly to Bluesky and AT Protocol endpoints.

Your choices

You can revoke the app password through your account provider and remove local information by deleting the app. Deletions performed through Skymarshal are permanent on the network and require confirmation.

Children

Skymarshal is not designed to collect personal information from children.
